Version 2.0 firmware for the GY-HM850 is now available to download for free from our support site. It includes adaptive bit rate technology for more reliable streaming, support for Real Time Messaging Protocol (RTMP) to allow a direct connection to a number of content distribution networks (CDNs) for live streaming, and a high quality 12 Mbps mode.
This GY-HM850CHE version of the camera is supplied without lens, enabling you to use your own 1/3" lenses. Whether you're shooting news, commercials, sports, documentaries or special events, JVC's new GY-HM850CHE is your first choice for an affordable high-performance shoulder camera. Its new 3-CMOS optical system delivers pristine HD images to solid state memory and the camera streams live video and audio via Wi-Fi or a plug-in GSM adapter. It features 4 channels of audio, dual memory card recording, and a new virtually lossless 50 Mbps recording mode.
